Trek
through the hills of Northern Thailand to meet
the colourful minority groups who call this beautiful
region home. Stay with local families in village
houses to see how the hilltribe folk live and
to learn more about their interesting ways of
life. Raft down rivers and ride elephants through
the jungle before trying your hand at training,
bathing and riding elephants yourself in a course
designed to give you a taste of what it’s
like to be an elephant handler. The area around
Chiang Mai has a lot to offer so if you’re
keen to rub shoulders with Buddhist monks in elaborate
temples, hang out with some hilltribes or get
down and dirty with Dumbo then this could be the
trip for you.

whilst learning about how this wonderful nation

a couple of action-packed days in Phnom Penh you’ll
head to Siem Reap to follow in the footsteps of
Angelina Jolie in ‘Tomb Raider’ -
exploring the magnificent temples of Angkor which
are regarded as some of the most impressive wonders
of the ancient world. Cambodia is an amazing country

a destination that will leave you totally gob-smacked
by its’ incredible history, culture and
scenery.

Explore
the fascinating backstreets of the Old Quarter
in Hanoi by cyclo before hanging out with some
monkeys at a primate rehabilitation centre in
the lush tropical jungle of Cuc Phuong National
Park. After being overwhelmed by the sublime beauty
of the limestone peaks which rise out of the rice
paddies at Thung Nang you’ll board a traditional
wooden ‘junk’ boat to cruise the emerald
waters of the World Heritage listed Halong Bay.
Over 3000 islands are scattered throughout Halong
Bay and your visit to this mysterious corner of
Vietnam will undoubtedly be a highlight of your
trip. You’ll then return to the hustle and
bustle of Hanoi to once again immerse yourself
in the sights, sounds and smells of this colourful

Chill-out
on a beach to soak up some sun by day and be blinded
by the lights in the clubs and pubs of Phuket
once the sun has set. Snorkel, swim and sunbathe
on ‘The Beach’ made famous by Leonardo
di Caprio in the movie of the same name whilst
on Phi Phi Island before sea kayaking around the
limestone karsts of incredible Krabi. Do as much
or as little as you want during your sun-kissed
Schoolies escapade in Southern Thailand. It’s
the perfect place to relax and unwind after your
end of year exams and one that will completely
captivate you with its breathtaking beauty. |

/ 7-night Go Bananas in Borneo
Venture
into the deepest, darkest jungles of Borneo in
search of wildlife such as orang-utan, elephants
and the peculiar looking Proboscis monkey. Marvel
at carnivorous plants and learn about the head-hunters
who once called Borneo home. See if you can spot
any similarities between your friends and the
orang-utans at the Sepilok Orang-utan Rehabilitation
Centre before paying your respects to the hundreds
of Aussie diggers who lost their lives on the
‘Death March’ from Sandakan during
World War II. Wash off the mud from your jungle
adventure with a dip in the warm waters of a coral
fringed island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park.

/ 6-night Full Moon Party
Be
there or be square! Koh Phangnan is the place
to party in Southern Thailand and is where all
of the Schoolies doing their Asian invasions will
be headed to celebrate the end of their school
years. After a couple of days kicking back on
the beach in Koh Samui you will be transferred
to the neighbouring island of Koh Phangnan for
the Full Moon Party. With the full moon as a backdrop,
you and hundreds of other revellers from all over
the globe will get to dance yourselves into a
frenzy on white sandy beaches as international
DJ’s fill the night sky with everything
from thumping techno and trance to the sweet sounds
of reggae. Fire twirlers, jugglers and other merry
folk will wander the crowds to entertain the party
goers until the full moon sets and the sun returns
to signal the start of yet another day in paradise.

/ 3-night Bonkers in Bangers
Bangkok
is a big, exciting city and a great place to burn
the last of your ‘Baht’ before returning
to Australia. Marvel at the Grand Palace glistening
in the midday sun, race tuk-tuks through the infamous
Bangkok traffic and pick up some souvenirs or
gifts for your family and friends at the Chatuchak
Weekend Market – one of the largest and
most famous markets in the world. Going bonkers
in Bangers is the perfect way to end your Schoolies
celebrations and to spend some time with your
friends – both new and old – before
embarking on your next journey in life.

you’ve chosen your Schoolies adventure please
contact Schoolies Travel by email on
info@schooliestravel.com.au
with the names of those who’ll be travelling with
you (first and last names, as per passports); your dates
of birth and details about what tour and add-ons you’d
like to do. If you like, use the booking/quote request
form on the site.
Once you’ve provided us with this information
we’ll email you with a complete itinerary and
costing which includes your chosen tour and add-ons;
airfares; travel insurance and visa fees. It’s
easy!
Don’t
forget:

If you’re 17 years old or under you will require
written permission from a parent or guardian before
you can participate in one of our overseas Schoolies
adventures.
- Parents
and guardians are invited and encouraged to join their
kids on one of these Schoolies packages however the
invite is not extended to ‘toolies.’

Travel Insurance is compulsory. We can arrange this
for you; it is advised that you don’t leave
home without it.
